CPU Utilization

What happens when you hit 100% of CPU utilization, my instance has been hitting 100% but I have not had any downtime.

Also, what does the area shaded grey mean?

100% CPU utilization doesnt always cause downtime or crash but leads to performance issues.

You can observe performance issues based on type of application ex. not serving new requests, slowness, frequent errors etc
