Domain from a deleted project

Hello and thanks in advance for you help.

I bought a domain through GCloud Domains, but it was tied to a deleted project.

AFAIK, the deletion is already completed, so the project can not be restored.

How can I retrieve the domain that I bought to use it in another project?

I know this is an old post, but just leaving a note in case this happens to someone in the future.

If a project is deleted and there is time left on the registration, that domain should be recoverable by visiting Google Domains, or contacting Google Domains support and verifying that that you match the information on the WHOIS.
