Firebase Hosting Rewrite to Cloud Storage (feature request)

Hi,

this is more like a feature request.

The firebase hosting configuration allows one to define rewrites to cloud functions and cloud run services. A nice way to serve content under custom domains. Is there a way to define a rewrite, not a redirect, to cloud storage buckets? That would make configuring CDN in front a storage very easy and would allow to rewrite requests to specific sub-paths in different bucket. Also buckets must not be public accessible. It would be much easier than configuring Cloud CDN with backend buckets, a load balancer and certificates.

Is this possible with Firebase Hosting or planed to be?
