GCP snapshot schedule - need to take snapshot once in a month

We have a requirement to take snapshots once in a month, as we have monthly patching schedule once in a month.
Currently we have two options in snapshot schedule daily and weekly, How can we take snapshots for monthly.

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

Unfortunately, as of now, Google Cloud only supports built-in snapshot frequencies of Hourly, Daily, and Weekly.

There is an active feature request for additional frequencies that you can view here - Monthly Schedule snapshots for VM instances. Please note that there is no specific timeline for when this will be implemented, as feature requests in Google Cloud are prioritized based on the number of stars a ticket receives.

The autor is using pre-patching scripts to take snapshots, just tested in my lab and all works 😄
