Global balancer IP swap

Hi,

I'd like to replace HTTP Classic load balancer with HTTP Managed balancer.

The problem is that I need to use the previous IP address for the new balancer. E.g. Linode cloud has a button which can swap IPs easily. I can not find such option on the Google cloud.

So can the IP swap be done smoothly and without interruption or with minimal service interruption?

It is not as easy as just clicking a button, but if you reserved an IP address for the classic Load Balancer, you can reuse it for the new one. Just make sure you delete first the global forwarding rule in the classic Load Balancer; otherwise, you will not be able to use it.
