How to export BigQuery results to Google Drive with VPC Service Controls enabled?

Hi Community,

I'm encountering an issue with BigQuery exports in a project where VPC Service Controls (VPC SC) are enabled. Currently, I'm unable to export query results directly to Google Drive, which was our previous workflow for downloading large query results.

While I understand that Google Cloud Storage (GCS) can be used as an alternative export destination, I prefer the simplicity and user-friendliness of the Google Drive export option.

Is there any way to:

1. Enable Google Drive exports while maintaining VPC SC?
2. Configure VPC SC settings to allow specific Google Drive exports?
3. Use any workarounds that maintain security while enabling Drive exports?

Our team prefers the Google Drive workflow as it's more straightforward than the GCS bucket process. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Environment:

• Project with VPC Service Controls enabled
• BigQuery query results > 100MB (too large for direct download)
• Need to maintain security while enabling easier exports
