Permission Error while Creating a New Project

I have registered a new account on GCP on December 17, 2024, I logged in with a Google Workspace Account with Super Admin, and while I try to create a New Project, I got the following error message.

You do not have the required "resourcemanager.projects.create" permission to create projects in this location.

Can someone please let me know how to fix this?

Hello @faiqmahdi  ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.

The common mistake for new GC user is that, they are thinking that WORKSPACE Super Admin = Google Cloud Organization Admin, without any additional steps which has to be taken. It's wrong. In fact, when you are login to console as Workspace Super Admin, you have rights to grant explicitly roles to your IAM principal. Only after that you will be able to work around Google Cloud console. So simply, go to your project / folder / organization LVL -> IAM -> Grant Access -> Add your EMAIL -> Pick role which contain such permissions ( see screenshot ). Suggest to pick one of highlighted.
