Unable to RDP to our windows server on GCP

We used to regularly connect to our windows web server on GCP to manage our hosted websites. But now when we try to RDP to our server. we are getting the following message.

An authentication error occured.

The security account manager (SAM) or local security authority (LSA) server was in the wrong state to perform the security operation.

We tried to reset windows password and we are unable to reset it and getting an error.

Please guide us on how to fix the issue.
