unable to assign a reserved internal IP to a fortigate instance using YAML

I'm trying to assign a static internal IP to a fortigate firewall instance by adding the a reserved IP in the yaml deployment file, to spin up the instance with the desired static IP assigned to interfaces.

As per google and Ansible documentation , I had to reserve internal IPs before deploying the VM, then add the reserved IPs to its field in the YAML file (network_ip) and I am using marketplace image as a source image, but it doesn't work it always get a dhcp (unassigned IP).

Any Idea, why it fails ????

There is no option to hard code an internal ip address in the Fortinet Web Application Firewall VM Image, that is why it is not working. I recommend you to reach the Fortinet Support for this issue as they manage these products even if they are in GCP's Marketplace.
