How to set custom response while using error catcher?

Even though I use Data mapper and assign cutsom message as above, it still gives below default error message in response

You can try using Return Task to return custom error code and error message.

Going by the screenshot you posted, it seems you have attached error catcher on the trigger. Can you try attaching the same to the Rest Caller Task or the task generating the error?

Yes, I tried Rest task with Fatal strategy but no luck.
