I completed the Baseline: Infrastructure badge. The one thing I learned from this badge is Stackdriver. It provides me a method of receiving signals, logs, metrics and traces from the resources so you can quickly see when there is any alert on your cloud.

In the quest "Language, Speech, Text, & Translation with Google Cloud APIs",
I've learnt how to use the Speech-to-Text API to transcribe an audio file into a text file,
the Cloud Translation API to translate from one language to another,
the Cloud Translation API to detect what language is being used and translate to a different language,
the Natural Language API to classify text and analyze sentiment, and create synthetic speech.

Hey there this is my second entry in the learn to earn challenge. Within the due course of completing the labs for earning the badge for Google Cloud essentials and Baseline infrastructure I got to learn how do API works and functions. Along with that I do got to know about the functioning of the Qwik start labs as well. This quest provided me with a great experience on the fundamentals of google cloud and also knowledge required to know the basics of it.

I have completed the following labs:

Creating virtual machine
getting started with google shell
Kubernetes engine
Setup Network and http load balancer

In the 1 quest I have learnt 2 different ways of creating virtual machine .Using Console and using gcloud command line .In the second quest I have learnt how to interact with console using gcloud commands. IN the third lab i have learnt what is kubernetes importance's of kubernnetes and benefits of using GKE .And in the last lab I have learnt

the differences between a network load balancer and an HTTP load balancer and how to set them up for your applications running on Compute Engine virtual machines.

So it was a great learning opportunity but I am too late to be short listed still hoping to win the price .

In this lab I have learned how to provision a complete Kubernetes cluster using Google Container Engine, deploy and manage Docker containers using kubectl and break an application into microservices using Kubernetes’ Deployments and Services.
The most interesting part was creating a Kubernetes Engine cluster, deploying an application, and use Spinnaker to continuously deploy the application when changes are made to the application.
The Cloud Operations Sandbox is intended to make it easy for us to deploy and run a non-trivial application that let us explore the Google Cloud Platform services, particularly the Cloud Operations hence In this lab, I learned to create several VPC networks and VM instances and test connectivity across networks.
