Have you stopped by the Arcade lately?

You might have noticed a new look - and some new badges, too. Starting April, the Arcade is featuring two game levels: introductory and advanced. Each level will have 4 to 14 labs, including challenge labs. You’ll see skill badge recommendations to help you solve those challenge labs - and after completing the games, you can claim your progress towards skill badges. (Game labs count!)

Here’s the twist: For every 3 skill badges in the Google Cloud Skills Boost catalog that you earn between April 1 and June 15, 2023, you will get one Arcade Point. Yes, that’s right! Earning skill badges will enhance your skills AND add more Arcade points for bigger and more rewards!

You might be wondering about credits to complete skill badges. We wondered about that too! And we’re excited to introduce you to our Arcade Facilitators, and explain a little bit more about the brand new program they’re a part of.

Arcade Facilitators are your guides in the Arcade.They are passionate about helping others and can answer questions, provide tips, and help participants with Google Cloud Skills Boost credits. Of course, you can still share your queries and successes in the Google Cloud Community Learning Forum, but Arcade Facilitators will be able to help you with pressing issues in a more timely manner.

Each of the Arcade Facilitators will have a share group. Join a share group to access a shared pool of credits. You and the other share group members can use the credits to complete labs. (So don’t panic if you see the number of credits dropping - that’s just members of your share group taking labs!) Please join ONLY ONE share group of any facilitator of your choice.

Without further ado, please meet your Arcade Facilitators. Reach out to them to understand how you can join their share group.

It is not mandatory to join an Arcade Facilitator’s group, but there are many benefits. Your Arcade Facilitator can help you personalize your Arcade experience, making it more enjoyable. You’ll also grow your network with opportunities to connect with your fellow share group members. Who knows - you may even like it so much that you’ll decide you want to be an Arcade Facilitator some day!

My few questions.. related facilitator program..

1. Currently I'm not join any facilitator group is it impact any arcade points?

2. I already have some badges, will they be counted in the arcade?

3. How many skill badges can we take, will we get more points than we can get?

1.. No it won't hamper your progress
2. Yes all badges earned from jan will be counted (except skillbadges)
3. Skill badges earned from 1st april till 15 june will be counted where
3 badges gives u 1 one point

One thing to Ask:

As there are two types of badges in the catalog.

1. Completion badges

2. Skills badges(which are having challenge labs)

Apart from Skills badges, If I complete completion badges only, will they count in fetching Arcade Prize Points. Please Clarify.

They will release by may for sure as everyone can see even after
introducing facilitators and credit very few people are joining arcade this
last year 20k seats were filled within 2-3 days now slots are still open
and this count will decrease next year too if they don't give something
worthy useful as their main target is students they should give something
which is helpful in students life like certification 100% free voucher or
something solar eco friendly lamps etc not mug jug etc electric kettle was
good for hostel students -

They need to bring improvement in swags

This Person @Abhishek_123 is one of your facilitators who removed me from his facilitator whatsapp group so that we can't use his shared pool credits!! How can you get them to the position of Facilitator? While he made the distinction of countries, he excluded from the group people of all countries, of many colors and of many races, except Indians. While no other Facilitator has ever done this.

Since the arcade is organized on a global level then how dare an arcade facilitator do this. This practice is completely against the rules of the arcade, so take note of it

@Babar_Ali You are not the only student whom i removed you from the credit share group as well as whatapp group. Due to some reason we deleted all 2200+ previous entry of students in my google form and release new google form as mention in 2-3 youtubers videos as well as linkedin. I am considering only new form entry and if you want to join, you can join by my new form ,old form data is not added in my credit share group as well as whatsapp.

As per my both enrollment form your name is not in my database then why i allowed in my whatsapp group. Being a facilitator i will check each and every entry in my form then i will add you in my share group and whatsapp as per program manager guidance.

But @Abhishek_123 When I asked you the reason for removing me and other people in the inbox who do not belong to your country.

As we mention in previous reply only the person who had filled the form only they are allowed in my group as well as mention in my form. You and rest 12 person (except +91) was not filled the form and you are one of them , so it's not good behaviour to join any whatsapp group without any work or without fillng the form.

As a students you was joined the the "Google cloud ready Facilitator" who was only for indian students. I know you and your work how you are joining the event by worng details in which you are not eligible.

Last thing whatsapp group is mine and i know my responsibilty how i will run this program smoothly but due to some unregistred students (as like you) without filling my form and joined my group will not be acceptable.

so, i will request to you fill the form and join the group if you want to participate under me .

My group and credit share group is always open form all and if you will join it will help me a lot .

I think it will clear your all doubts and if any more feel free to ask , I will try to answer your questions when i will be free.

Now what's wronged with the Standard Prize Tier, Standard Prizes are starting from 5 Points. In order to claim a piece of swag , you must have at least 5 points to claim a piece of only one Goodie😢😢

Premium prizes are also same they never listen to our feedback last premium plus will also have same lunch cooler, laptop pouch etc.

Why @Yugali we have given you all a lots of Feedbacks to Bring some new useful Prizes for Students and you bring everytime TeaPots, Spill free Mugs and Sippers. Where should we students use with these Mugs and Sipper from Premium Tier?

Even you couldn't improve Premium Tier. And What Joke we are going to see in Premium PLUS tier?

Did you Note our Feedbacks? Did you bring the Prizes in which we are interested??

Maybe I won't have a gift even though I've completed full right, will this happen or not ?

@Yugali @emily927 We are all observing and seeing that All of the Prizes from STANDARD & PREMIUM Tier costs a lot of corresponding Points. In Arcade 2022, you have started Prize Tiers from 1 - 5 points(STANDARD) and NOW you have started Prize Tiers from 5 - 10 Points (STANDARD) for Arcade Counter 2023

Can you compare the TWO and tell us:

Why have you increased the value of the Prize in the next Prize counter 2023 in terms of points compared to the value of the same rewards in the previous Prize counter 2022???

We see, Same Organizer & Cap even a little Pen is falling under Standard Tier with Points from 5 - 10. These standard Prizes Laid in 1-5 Points in Past Prize Counter 2022

We see , Shirt was of cost 9 points and spill free Mug is of 8 Points in Past Arcade Prize Counter 2022 but now same repetitive Prizes are falling under Premium Tier with Points from 11 - 15 !!!! That's mean we need to have more than 11 points to get a Piece of ONLY ONE of THEM !!

Just remember 3 skill badge = 1 arcade point and level-1,level-2 and trivia badges alone will give you 1 arcade point.

I.e:-

Trivia badge+level-1 badge+level-2 badge= 3 arcade points.

It would be great if u finish them first , but u can earn arcade points by completing any skill badge course and gain any skill badge.

The more u have skill badges the more arcade point u will get and the better prizes u can get.
