Clarification on Total Points Calculation in the Arcade Facilitator Program 2025

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding how the points are awarded in the Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program. Here's what I'm trying to clarify:

• Completing 10 Arcade Games, 8 Trivia Games, 44 Skill Badges, and 16 lab-free courses results in 40 Arcade Points + 25 Bonus Points for completing the milestone.
• Additionally, I understand there are 50 Bonus Points for completing the milestones (Milestone 1, Milestone 2, Milestone 3, and Milestone 4) and if i complete milestone 4 then 1,2 and 3 gets completed as well.

My question is:

If I complete everything (all games, trivia, badges, and courses), will I receive:

1. 11 x 2 (games and trivia badges of two months including the 2 poit game badge) + 22 (1 point for completetion of 2 skill badges so total completion of 44 skillbadges) + 50 Bonus Points = 96 points by adding the bonus points of all the 4 milestone 2+8+15+25 = 50
2. Or, does the Ultimate Milestone bonus (25 bonus points) means 11 x 2 (games and trivia badges of two months including the 2 poit game badge) + 22 (1 point for completetion of 2 skill badges so total completion of 44 skillbadges) + 25 Bonus Points = 69 points and not adding the bonus points of previos milestones

You will get the Bonus points of only the milestone you reach at the end of GCAF program not from the previous milestone. 

Ultimate Milestone bonus (25 bonus points) means 11 x 2 (games and trivia badges of two months including the 2 poit game badge) + 22 (1 point for completetion of 2 skill badges so total completion of 44 skill badges) + 25 Bonus Points = 69 points and not adding the bonus points of previous milestones

this is the correct understanding if they give you bonus points of previous milestone as well then don't you think it's unfair for those who haven't reached to ultimate milestone.

But won't this create problem to earn the milestone of 85 points as you have to earn 16 more points to reach that meaning you have to complete 32 more skill badges total 76 skill badges in two months with the limit of doing 15 labs only in 24 hrs

And I don't think it will be a disadvantage because if some doesn't reach the milestone why will they get bonus points for that but the person who completed all the four will still be getting only the bonus of the last milestone is an actual disadvantage

No, 

Only highest milestone will be considered. 

Ex: if you achieve "ultimate milestone" - 40+25 bonus points = Total 65 points.  

If out of 10 Arcade games , if you complete, 2 special games - 42+25 bonus points = Total 67 points.

On completion of Ultimate Milestone*, you will receive:

• For 10 games = 10 Points
• For 8 trivia games = 8 Points

• For milestone completion & completing ANY 16 provided "lab-free" courses = 25 Bonus Points
• Total: 40 Arcade Points + 25 Bonus Points ⭐️

Note: If out of the 10 games, if you complete 1 special game, you can earn 41 Arcade points + 25 bonus points. If you complete 2 special games, you can earn 42 Arcade points + 25 bonus points since completion of special games gives you 2 Arcade points.

Please note max points one can earn is 67 points only in "ultimate milestone" if you do both special badges(Apr and May).

Please  note they will consider  10 Arcade games only(both Apr and May).

if 10 arcade games are w/o special games(Apr and May) then -40+25 = 65 points.

if 10 arcade games are with one special game (either Apr or May) then -41+25=66 points.

if 10 arcade games are with two special games (both Apr or May) then -42+25=67 points

Do arcade badges. Each arcade badge is 1 point. 16 is not that bad.

The arcade is going since January. If you stayed on top of it 30 was quite reachable by the start of this. If anything, I feel facilitator program is one of the reasons why the bar is so high as I don't think you can get 85 exclusively through arcade only games (65 was quite high for arcade only, also enrollment for facilitator program was only open for 2 weeks, so if you didn't get it, getting to 85 is very hard if its even possible without subscription). Another thing, if you did labs since January some of the badges would have completed labs already so its way less work.

if you stick to it, get the facilitator program and then do may + june + mbe july, you should be able to hit 85 (65 facilitator + 10 may + 10 june + 10 july? [seats tend to be added, so hopefully no one gets left behind during facilitator program and will be able to complete the badges they want]). I do agree that 85 is an insane amount of work. In my experience its an average of 8 labs for 1 arcade point. Each lab on average is probably close to 15-30 mins, so you can do the math of how long 85 points would be. So that 25 bonus points, is a very good deal (alas likely the reason for such inflated goals)... I think last time they also had a week where each badge was 1 arcade point, but I would not rely on it.

I also have this feeling that the arcade point milestones are likely to keep inflating (some time ago, highest tier was 16 arcade points in 6 months, I think)... Also you can get screwed over hard if you had too many badges completed before facilitator program begun... That would be a bummer.

I would like to add some information/my view 

Anyone who is doing Arcade games + facilitator program since few years know the trick how to get to 85 points.

Ideally , you should start from Jan and be part of facilitator program also.

Google always sends tip in mails  , always do Arcade Games(Base camp, L1,L2,L3, special badges, cert zone, ) trivia Games(Wk1,2,3,4) first. then do Skill badges.

If you understands this message, you can save lot of time and you can avoid repeating labs..

Always aim at how much you are learning than how many points you are completing. Ideally learning should give points.

I have observed, in lab free courses people are just answering Q/A and completing courses. I can understand people who have learned earlier doing this is OK. New users/learners doing this not a good advice. New learners should learn subject and achieve points and in turn swags. 

Hard earned knowledge/skill is always with .. and this will be more useful in getting job..

On completion of whichever highest milestone - you will get that one highest milestone - Total points only including bonus points specified .

Jan to May 25 - 5 x11 = 55 Points
Skill Badges- 60 x 0.5 = 30 Points (Total 85 skill badges available on Google Cloud Skill Boost)
Total Points = 55+30 = 85 Points.

Case 2:
Whoever started in Jan 25 and part of Facilitator program
Monthly Arcade Games(Basecamp,L1,L2,L3- 4 Points ) ,Trivia(Wk1,2,3,4- 4 Points),special game(2 points), Certificate Zone(1)-- Total 11 Points
Jan to Mar 25 - 3 x11 = 33 Points
