Solved: Re: Failed in GCP ACE exam

I gave the gcp ace exam today and I failed in it. The bad part is Google doesn’t even show how much marks I got or marks distribution per Google Service so that I can work on that part before giving the exam again.

On top of that I just started The Arcade in June month - Can I still collect the 10 points and get some swag? If yes I will start doing labs if I still have time,

If not then I will wait for 2nd part of The Arcade and take my prepration for exam as slow as possible.

And if their is any other way to earn swag apart from the Arcade please inform me about that also. Swag is important to me as it makes labs more interesting and fun because after completing each lab their is an award associated with it so one doesn’t lose the enthusiasm.

Sorry to hear that you failed.

Regarding the Arcade, there are 10 points awarded this month, so you would not even need additional skill badges.

Regarding the ACE exam, CertMetrics recently made this announcement:

Score reports for unsuccessful exam attempts can be accessed in “Exam History”.

Yes, you can collect 10 points before the opening of Arcade Prize Counter. You can complete the 3 levels and 4 Trivia week badges now and earn 7 points with it and do some skill badges to get the remaining 3 points. You can get 1 point by completing and earning 2 skill badges.

Now, only 1st week Trivia badge is open but the remaining 3 Trivia badges will open soon.

It;s sad to hear that you failed in the certification exam. And it might be frustrationg that you don't know the reason you failed. It's been this way because Google keeps the Pass/Fail Criteria and the questions that appeared in the test a confidential.

Regarding arcade, you can earn minimum tier swag(10 Points - Standard Milestone) if you start now. You can complete 7 points before 21st of June. You can earn remaining points from the skill Badges.
