Is there a plan to continue the Get Certified Program in 2025 or another program where we could gain experience and the opportunity to get a certificate for free?
I think the program has not yet renewed for 2025. I took part last year (2024) and am still shown as being on the waitlist, suggesting that a new program for 2025 is not yet available for innovators.
Is there any update over this? Any MODs available? I have sent around 3 emails to <googlecloudinnovators@google.com> and haven't received a reply in a week.
This is exactly why I decided to ask the question in public forum. I am worrying that this program doesn't work at all. I am waitlisted but as far as I remember I declared interest in exam which is not listed in 2025. Therefore should I decline my registration? In that case may be my queue position will start count again etc.
I understand that there are probably a lot of people interested in and not everybody can be satisfied.
No, it does work. I was enrolled into the 2024 program, then got a 100% voucher for the certification of my choice at the end after completing all the required labs (although I didn't pass the exam :))
I think if your organization has used google cloud, you have advantage over the people whose company don't use google cloud. I was selected for an email address which uses google cloud although i applied later with that email address than i did with the other one that don't probably use google cloud. Maybe i am wrong.
