Unfortunately, despite the item being a gift, it was incorrectly marked as a "salle goods" on the customs form. This error led to me being charged an extremely high customs fee, which I should not have had to pay for a gift. I find it unfair and frustrating to be penalized with such a significant customs charge for a reward that was meant to be provided at no cost to me.
As per customs regulations, gifts typically qualify for exemptions from these fees. However, due to this misclassification, I have been burdened with fees that were unjustly applied. I kindly request a review of this issue and a refund of the charges, as the package was clearly a gift, not a commercial purchase.
