We’re going to be posting Community Challenges within the Learning Forums on an ongoing basis. Community Challenges are perfect for anyone who is interested in gaining hands-on skills across Cloud technologies, getting free training courses, winning rewards, earning badges, and having fun while doing so.
Every month, we post a new Community Challenge that is hosted within our hands-on learning platform: Qwiklabs. The topics for these challenges will vary, and are designed so that anyone, even with no prior experience, can participate and learn something valuable.
How to participate:
Step 1: Make sure you’re signed in as a member of the Google Cloud Community.
Step 2: Follow the link in a Community Challenge post into Qwiklabs and follow the prompts to start the challenge.
Step 3: Complete every activity in Qwiklabs, earn a Skill Badge, and compete for the top dog position on that challenge’s leaderboard.
Step 4: Post a screenshot of your newly minted Skill Badge in the monthly Community Challenge thread to earn a special Community Badge and earn awesome prizes.

Please note: You don’t need a community membership to participate in the hands-on practice BUT you do need one if you want to earn Badges within the Community and be in the running for prizes.
