Lab broken - Google AppSheet: Getting Started

I followed exactly the 3 steps in this Lab:

Google AppSheet: Getting Started

1 - Creating a Spreadsheet (although the link in the lab was broken, too, I was able to generate the spreadsheet).

2 - Create the App with the correct name.

3 - Using the App's interface, add a new contact.

Steps 1 and 2 were completed easily, step 3 doesn't check even when I restarted the lab and tried different approaches.

1. I don't know how you were able to test since the link for the spreadsheet is broken:

2. Again, the lab is not working as expected.

now link to open sheets file showing error permanently.

In Task #1 , you make a copy of sheets file from the the link (presently not opening) .

by chance if you can manage to find  Personal contacts file in your system from earlier labs , you can upload and replace, it works and I have tested with old file. This is only temporary work around till link in Task #1 is rectified.

Note: we are not using any extra resources

Yes. Google sheets problem is occurring very frequently now. Try below method to complete lab.

1) open Google app sheet in Incognito and supply student username and password

2)In Incognito, open another tab and search for Google sheets and open

3) give some name - test

4) Follow Task #1 , Point no 2 and 3

5) in Personal Contacts sheet add below 

ID

Email Address

First Name

Last Name

Phone

Check Task #1

Complete  Task #2 by following lab.

For last task (Task #5) follow Point #1 to #3 and check task.

I followed your instructions, but still wasn't able to complete.

It seems that other people are facing the same issue - check the comments on <URL Removed by Staff>

I checked the Browser's console log and internet tab to find this are the requests and responses, after following @RAOKS suggestion:
