Hi,
I created a free trial account on GCP to go through some tutorials, but when I try to Start a lab on Cloud SQL course, I don't get temporary credentials for it, but instead a pop-up window asking me to either buy a credit or to enter a lab token. My colleague who created the same free trial account gets credentials. Does anyone know why is this happening?
Hi @bzzmaja
It is normal, in the laboratories there are free labs and labs that require credits. If you entered the 30-day free trial you have to do the introductory lab to Google Labs so that they sign you up for the free month and you can do the labs without any problem.
Remember that if you enter the google practices you should receive an email with a link and a unique code that you must enter, it is recommended to enter incognito mode first, enter the link .. place the code and log in to the cloudskillsboost.google account so that the code is attached to your account and then carry out the practice of the labs
A Tour of Google Cloud Hands-on Labs
This way you will receive the month of free access and you can carry out the laboratories
On the other hand, the platform is currently carrying out various updates and modifications to the platform. Be aware that due to this some Qwuiklas functions are disabled or certain laboratories do not have access.
Even after completing introductory lab , It's still asking for token .Any suggestions?
Wait for sometimes, Same has happened to me on the next I got the free subscription
