Point System - Arcade and Arcade Facilitator

Hi All,

Today, I have a new post regarding the Point System, which I believe will clarify any doubts you may have about points calculation for the 2nd Season of Arcade.

Google Cloud Arcade (Normal Event - July 22, 2024 to December, 2024)

• 1 Skill Badge = 1 Arcade Point (From July 22, 2024 to July 31, 2024) - During Monsoon Event only.
• 2 Skill Badges = 1 Arcade Point (From August 1, 2024)
• 1 Game Badge/Special Edition Badge/Trivia Badge = 1 Arcade Point

Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program (From July 22, 2024 to September 27, 2024)

• 1 Skill Badge = 1 Arcade Point (From July 22, 2024 to July 31, 2024) - During Monsoon Event only.
• 2 Skill Badges = 1 Arcade Point (From August 1, 2024 to September 27, 2024)
• 1 Game Badge/Special Edition Badge/Trivia Badge = 1 Arcade Point

NOTE: To achieve milestones, you must complete the required number of Skill Badges, but points will be awarded according to the above point system.

Example:

If you collect 42 Skill Badges from July 22, 2024 to July 31, 2024, you will have 42 Arcade Points. If by September 27, 2024, you complete 6 Arcade Games and 8 Trivia Games, you will have a total of:

• 42 (Skill Badge Points) + 6 (Arcade Game Points) + 8 (Trivia Game Points) = 56 Points
• Plus 25 Bonus Points

Total: 81 Points

will the Google Cloud Arcade event (Normal Event - July 22, 2024 to December 2024) have any more swag? and when will it be shared?

Just like Arcade Season 1, swag and other details will be shared every 2-3 weeks. So, we all have to wait until then.

One quick question though - will the Arcade (Normal Event) milestones be the same as in the last season?

We have no information about this till now. As every time swags and rules are different. So we have to wait for further announcements regarding Swags and Milestones by Community Managers and Arcade Team.

What to do with 81 points. as you can see this time the maximum milestone was at 70 points( that was also a exception as many players done 100+ points, so as to counterbalance the loss they made that) I think there needs a clearification on this(that if we do 21 skill badge before 31 july and after that 6 levels+8 trivias we reach ultimate milestone+6 levels+8 trivias). This is my opinion on how point system should work:)

As I mentioned above, the Arcade Facilitator Milestone is based on the number of Skill Badges, Game Badges, and Trivia Badges, not on the points that you have collected.

For example, if you complete 21 Skill Badges before July 31, 2024, and then complete 6 Arcade Games and 8 Trivia Games afterward, you will not achieve the Ultimate milestone. You will only reach Milestone 2, not even Milestone 3 (which requires at least 28 Skill Badges).

To reach the Ultimate milestone, you must complete 42 Skill Badges before September 22, 2024.

What is the difference between the Google Cloud Arcade and Google Cloud Arcade facilitator programs? How do I register for Google Cloud Arcade?

We can say that the Arcade Facilitator program is a part of Google Cloud Arcade as if we do participate in the Arcade Facilitator program we have to register any one Facilitator who will guide us and solve our queries during this Facilitator Program (From July 22, 2024 to Sept 22, 2024). Also we get some extra bonus points with Facilitator program as mentioned above. For more details about Point specific to Facilitator Program please refer to below mentioned link. Also there is a form to participate in Arcade Facilitator.

I'm just wondering, will people enrolled in the Facilitator Program be able to get the Arcade Prize Counter/Swags on September 22, 2024? Or do they have to wait until December 2024?

Prize counter will open at once in December for all Arcade Participants whether they enroll for Facilitator only or they are doing Games badges for normal Arcade Event as well.

So, those enrolled in the Facilitator Program cannot earn Arcade Points after September 22, 2024?

If you have not enrolled for Arcade Facilitator program then also you can earn as many points as you want (maximum 40 or 42 points from Skill Badges and 40-50 points from Game and Trivia Badges) starting from July 22, 2024 till December, 2024. Only one thing is that you will not get any Bonus points from Facilitator program.

Hello, I had collected 90.5 (estimated) during 22 July to 27 September. If i complete the other October and November games, will those points be added to my previous points regarding prize distribution?

Yes, all the points will be calculated make sure you are doing Oct and Nov games from that same mail id.

Actually,I have a quick question to ask-

I had enrolled in GCAF 2024 and earned some points during that period.I had not enrolled in Arcade program. How can I enroll? Or if I continue solving the Nov and Oct Trivia s will my points be added to my prize counter.

Just go to https://go.cloudskillsboost.google/arcade and subscribe to Arcade (If already done, ignore it) and do the listed game/trivia badges. If you achieved Ultimate milestone in GCAF 2024 then in my opinion don't do much badges as it is a waste to time because the swags highest milestone at this time is of 65 points.

Yes, perform all the Game/Trivia badges listed on Arcade website every month as they will give you 10-11 points till December which means you have around 30 points and if you want to earn more points then do skill badges as well. If possible DM me here or on insta will guide you.

Since every month offers 10/11 points and its from July to December will there be games in December too or will arcade end on 30th November?

Bonus points count is already shared by the team through mail and Arcade Points count which you earn till Sept 30 by doing different badges is shared with you on mail in Insider mail. Please check it. You can claim total points (Bonus + Arcade) in December when prize counter open.

I am confused like bonus will be count till 27th or 30th.

Bonus point count is till Sept 27 as the Facilitator program ends on Sept 27.

I said that you will receive a Insider mail which contain the Arcade points count you earned till sept 30 excluding Bonus points.

Can I have two arcade accounts and do games earn points from both of them and claim swags from both? is it possible to do so? If not can I send my arcade points from one account and share it to another?

You can do Arcade from 2 accounts but you can't share or send Arcade points to another account.

Arcade facilitator event ended on september itself & participants who have
earned the skill badges during that period will get bonus points not other,
so you won't get any bonus point

Bonus points are only awarded to those who achieved any milestone of GCAF program between July 22, 2024 to Sept 27, 2024.

 I have a doubt can you please clarify that in sep I completed milestone 2 of facilitator program and got 11 bonus point. After that I completed games and skill badges and my total points are 61 and 11 bonus points which makes a total of 72.
So during swag redeeming what will be my total score, like, 61 or 72?
