There's no prize counter for every month. It opens once every six months. Typically, one Google arcade season going around six months. After ending the whole season prize counter opens and you can claim prizes for points you collected over the time.

In every Arcade game, you are supposed to confirm a list of statements by clicking "I understand".  Actually, reading those statements may help with clarifying some issues (like the current one).
