Transfer Data from Azure to GCP Using STS Over Private Connectivity

I am looking to transfer data from Azure to GCP using Storage Transfer Service (STS) while ensuring the data transfer happens over a private connection (Cross-Cloud Interconnect + ExpressRoute ) and not the public internet. By default, STS uses the public internet, but I have established private connectivity between Azure and GCP.

Could you please clarify:

1. How can I configure STS to ensure that it uses the private connection instead of the public internet for data transfer?
2. Are there additional steps or specific configurations required to leverage private connectivity between Azure and GCP in this scenario?
3. Are there any best practices or alternative methods to securely transfer data between Azure and GCP over private connectivity?
