What happened to my certification link?

I recently passing the GCP Database Engineer exam, the link stopped work two days ago. It was my understanding that this issue should be resolved by this time. I need the verification link for my job and this situation is truly confusing. Can someone please provide me with a realistic timeline of when this issue will be resolved?

My Apologies for the delayed response. Accredible is doing well from my side. I can see my credentials properly. At this point can you please reach out to cloud-partner-training@google.com and see what they has to say on this matter. Please send them an email from your @accenture.com email address. 

Again, you can also go to Google Cloud Trainings Support Ticketing System here , login with your Accenture ID, raise a ticket with the issues and put : cloud-partner-training@google.com on the cc, so that they can work together on this issue.

Its really frustrating learning about your situation. Since there are certain updates going on around the partner programs and qwiklabs team are short in capacity for the moment. Please have patience sir, I believe your issue will be solved at earliest.

Hello,

Certain updates are rolling out recently. For now, if you have scheduled and passed your exam on Webassessor. You can get information from there. Also there is a new platform called CertiMetrics, where your passed exam information is carried out. You will able to find them from CertiMetrics also. And for getting your Certificate/Digital badge, please refer to your Accredible account.

Hi Tamzid,

The problem with those sites is that they don’t really have a public link the way Google previously verified their certifications. If I log in on Webassessor or CertiMetrics, I can see that I passed the exam, but neither has a public link. My employer goes by the public link. I need to know when will the public link become available again?

Hello Mr. James,

Good day to you. As far as I can understand you are looking for the public link of your credential or certificate. For such, all you need to do is go to www.accredible.com and go to the link just below the sign/sign up option on the top right corner of the website. Then you will need to provide the email which you have used for your certification exam. The system shall send your certification link to your inbox. And yes, you can share that to the public, they will be able to view that without authentication.

Do you have a sense of how long it takes for the accedible site and your system to sync up? I'd like to level set my expectations on how long this process will take.

I have done as you asked and I am still waiting for the accedible site to update. I uploaded the only proof of me passing the exam that I have which is the attached photo. The accredible site has my Database Engineer certification listed as unverified (because there is no certification link and no site to prove I passed other than Kryterion). Since you all have changed the link for verification this process has been a mess. I am very dissatisfied with this outcome. I need a verifed link to provide to my employer and others that I actually passed this exam. You all changed your process and I have been waiting and waiting. It has been over 2 weeks since I passed this exam. I have received my congratulatory mug and stickers from Google, but I still don't have a verification link. Tamzid I need a real solution here. Telling me to keep waiting without a defined timeline is unacceptable. In addition, I'm not even listed on the Google Cloud directory as passing this exam. Please give me a feasible solution.

I can see you manually uploaded the page with the proof of completion of your Google Cloud credentials; unfortunately, that image cannot be verified as it has been manually uploaded by you and not directly by your Issuer yet. 

 

Also, we confirm that we are unable to find the credentials you are looking for linked to your email.

 

As Accredible is a credential hosting company, we are not in control of when credentials are published or removed, and we can only check if they can be found in our system.

I am getting the run around here. Accredible says Google needs to provide a verified link and you say Accredible will post my link and in the meantime, I don't have a verification link. Again, please give me a real solution to this problem. I need an actual verified link, not a story about how some other organization will magically make it happen. Give me an actual link so that Accredible CAN verify I'm certified.

Thank you for your reply, it does indeed sound frustrating.

 

We cannot verify credentials because the only people who can publish verifiable credentials are your Issuer - they have all the data they need from you in their system to publish the credential under your name and email after successfully passing a course.

 

After they publish your credentials, it is then that you will be able to see them under your wallet, and in that case, your credentials will be in our system.

 

I would recommend telling the Google Cloud support that we have not found the credentials you are looking for in our servers linked to your email, and that they need to publish them through us so that you can find them on Accredible.

Accredible has proven that there is nothing they can do until Google provides a credible link. Accredible cannot provide anything other than a good way to view certification. Please give me a working link, list me in the directory, and do whatever else needs to be done. This issue begins and ends with Google not Accredible. So please stop asking me to wait for something Accredible cannot and will not do.

 

I'm in the exact same place as you are, I have passed my GCP data eng exam on the 16th on still waiting. 

Wow same day as me. I feel for you my friend. I have never had this issue before with Google or anyone else. I have no idea why this has suddenly become so difficult. This should be a pretty easy fix, I have no idea why this has suddenly become such an issue.

They replied to me saying there's no specific timeframe for the fix so I'm guessing it will take some time.

I did get a quick reply. It is a known issue for anyone who took and passed a Google certification exam between 9/15-9/18. I was basically told that they are working to resolve the issue, but there is no time frame for the fix, only that is actively being addressed. So take it for what it's worth, hopefully this will be resolved over the next few weeks.
