Add a date control with a pre-filled date range

Hi,

Is it possible to add a date range that is fixed by default but can then be changed by the viewer? I know I can add a fixed date range, and I can also add a date control, but neither quite gives what I want.

I am setting up a monthly report to be sent by email so I want it to always show the last calendar month data. But I also want them to be able to change the date range when they go into the report.

I have set up a date control and changed it to last calendar month, but whenever I go back to the report it is defaulted back to Auto date range (last 28 days).

The behavior that you described is pretty much the best solution here. You can create a date control and set its default, and users can change the value when they view the report, but then if they refresh the report the date control will be reset to the default value. 

It sounds like you'd like each user to be able to save their own default for a date filter?
