Analysing Looker Studio Dashboard usage via Google Analytics

Hi, I have created several dashboards in Looker Studio and want to use Google Analytics to view traffic. According to what I have read, I need to create a new property in Google Analytics and then add the Google Analytics Measurement ID to the dashboard itself.

The thing is, I have successfully done this with a couple of Looker Studio dashboards and getting data coming into Google Analytics. However, on other Looker Studio dashboards, data is not being sent to Google Analytics even though (as far as I can see) the set up is exactly the same.

Has anyone else has a similar experience?

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

I just had the same issue - and weirdly enough, it went away after a couple of hours....and I reopened the report in a new tab.   Could have been either a lag, or forcing the reload of the report that caused the GA code to get downloaded.

Some reports the GA data shows up right away for me in the "real time" tab, and others not - not sure what the difference is.

Thanks for your feedback. Glad to know its not just me!

I have tried deleting the Google Analytics properties and setting everything up again and leaving it for a few days but it does not seem to work. Will try this again unless anyone else has other suggestions as to what might be going wrong.
