Description of the Problem:
There is a critical issue in Looker Studio where changes to chart settings are not retained. Specifically, when I enable the "cumulated" option in a line chart, this setting is immediately lost if any other property of the chart is changed or the report is newly opened. This behavior occurs consistently and is not limited to the "cumulated" option—other settings are also affected. As you can see, cumulated is still active in the settings, but the chart is not cumulated anymore.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open a report in Looker Studio.
Add or edit a line chart.
Enable the "cumulated" option.
Enable Gradient (or most other properties).
Observe that the linechart is not "cumulated" anymore. The cumulated option is still enabled as in the picture, but after reopening the properties or report, it's gone.
Scope & Frequency:
The issue occurs with different data sources, on multiple machines, and across various browsers.
It is not limited to a single report.
The problem happens every time these steps are followed.
Expected Behavior:
After enabling "cumulated" or adjusting any chart property, all settings should be retained unless explicitly changed by the user.
Actual Behavior:
The "cumulated" setting (and others) resets as soon as another property is modified, making it impossible to save desired chart configurations.
Impact:
This bug prevents me from creating and saving cumulative line charts or other customized visualizations, significantly limiting the functionality of Looker Studio for time series and trend analysis.
