Cant load from Google Sheets, some files dont appear

I'm encountering difficulty generating a new data source from Google Spreadsheets. When I attempt to add the data source, the new files aren't appearing on the Drive iframe. Is there an estimated time for these new files to appear, or are there any restrictions on the files?

Same! I have been attempting this all day, and no dice. I've never encountered this issue with Sheets<>Looker before now. Someone help!

It sometimes happens, have you tried refreshing the page?, also if you are not the owner of the spreadsheet you need the file to be shared with you or if you don't have enough space in your drive new files might not appear or sync correctly.

I did try refreshing the page, as in my experiments I noticed that files created directly in Drive do show up. However, when uploading a file to Drive, it doesn't appear as a data source.

While I understand this not directly adress your issue a posiblle temporary work-around would be creating a BigQuery Table based on google sheets and then pushing it into looker studio.

A plus of this solution is it will auto sync any added/removed data in your google sheets and also using a scheduled job with select *  every 10 minutes into materialized table can greatly improve how fast looker studio works with your data vs using it on Google Sheets data which oftenly works slow with huge amount of data.
