Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a recurring issue with the Date Range Picker in Looker Studio when I set it to "Report-Level." Here's what's happening:
I’ve searched for solutions online, but I haven’t found anything related to this issue. It seems like this could be a bug or limitation in Looker Studio.
For now, I’ve had to keep the Date Range Picker at Page-Level and duplicate it across all pages, but this isn’t ideal as users need to reselect the date range on each page.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is there a known fix or a workaround that allows the Date Range Picker to function properly at Report-Level? Or could this be a bug that needs to be reported to Google?
Thanks in advance for your help! 😊
Is your Style setting for report-level components set to “Top”? This is different than “Bring to Front.”
Hi Laura,
Thank you for your suggestion and for taking the time to help me out! Unfortunately, the issue persists even when I follow the steps you suggested. Here’s what happens:
So just to clarify, if you go to Theme and Layout, click the Layout tab, and scroll all the way at the bottom, the 'Report-level Component Position' is set to Top? If it is set to Bottom you will never see report-level elements in the front.
