When selecting "This quarter to date (excluding today)" option in the report date range selection, it typically will default to the adjustable calendar view when you click the drop down. This makes it easy to adjust the date if you'd like.
However I've noticed that currently in multiple reports that I have this set to, they now are reflecting the "Advanced" view when clicking the drop down, which makes it more difficult for users to adjust. Anyone know if this is a new update?
This seems to be a widespread issue. There is a bug report here if you want to add your +1.

I was able to return previous functionality by editing the report and changing the Default date range in the Date range control properties away from Auto date range (my desired default) to something else, then back again. Then I made sure the control itself was set to Auto date range. Not sure if that approach will work for everyone, but if you play around with the settings you may be able to get it to stick.
Thank you Laura, I tried your recommendation but had no luck, appreciate you for sharing though. I went to the issue link you provided and it sounds like it's currently getting looked into. Thanks again!
