Display null bins in frequency distribution chart

Hello everyone,

I have a frequency distribution chart with small bin size (0.02) and no values between 1.78 and 1.82. How to get Loolek Studio to display the 2 empty bins :  [1.78, 1.80) and [1.80, 1.82) with value = 0 on dimension axis. I also would like to keep selector sliders working. If possible I would prefer a solution without complex queries.

Thank you for your query!

You can achieve this in 2 steps:

  1. Ensure that you have included those 2 bins in your lookML for the x-axis so that they exist with/without values in them
  2. In the Edit tab on the top right of your visualization tab in your explore env. toggle on the option to 'Plot Null Values'

Hello,

Thank you for your quick feedback.

I am not quite sure what actually mean 'lookML', 'visualization tab' & 'explore env' so I didn't find the checkbox.

Would you be so kind as to provide a screenshot of  where to find 'Plot Null Values' checkbox.

(I'd also like to be able to change the interface to English.)

Here is a screenshot of the bins definition including, on my mind, the 2 empty bins : [1.78, 1.80) and [1.80, 1.82):

Few of your responses are correct...but for Looker not Looker Studio:))
