How can I add YT Analytics data source if I'm a editor in the YT channel?

I have a channel that I'm an editor (not an owner) on YouTube, I want to add that channel to Looker Studio via YT Analytics but when I try -- I only can add the channels where I'm the owner.

How can I add a channel to Looker Studio via YT Analytics if I'm an editor?

Hi @ingeniela, thanks for your post!

The Connect to Youtube Analytics help page  lists all of the connection options for Youtube Analytics. It looks like you do have to be an Owner, or at the very least, if you do not see the channel listed, you do not have access to it. Maybe you can look into the Google+ Pages option, or else the Advanced option? Can you work with the channel Owner to expand the permissions?

I am having this same issue. I am not the owner of the youtube channel but have the highest permissions possible as manager. There is nothing higher but to be the owner.....I can't be the owner (since the owner needs that!).

How else can I connect?
