How to pin the navigation bar open?

I have created a multi-section report and have the navigation bar set to the left side. However, when the looker report opens, the navigation bar is collapsed down to just numbers... 1, 2, 3. I am looking for a way to pin the navigation bar open so that my users can see the names of each section.

When my nav bar is collapsed to numbers, I click the > at the bottom of the nav bar and it expands. 

Then, at least for me, it remains expanded if I close and open the report again later. I think this is about as close as we can get! Otherwise I'd recommend creating a feature request.
