Identifying who owns data sources in Looker Studio?

Hi there! So I have a Looker Studio dashboard that stopped working a few months ago because of a data set configuration error, and I'd like to reconnect the data sources to get it up and running again.

However, the guy who set up these dashboards has long since left the business, and unfortunately nobody knows who currently owns these data sources now. We’ve tried to repeatedly request for access for some months, but to no avail.

Is it possible to identify who the current owner of a given data source is, so I can contact them directly to request for access or transfer ownership?

Hi @mikepehipol 

ownership of LookerStudio assets can be transferred by the Workspace Admin:

1/ When a user is deleted, the workflow allows to transfer the data the user owns to another user - the Looker Studio Assets would have fallen under that

2/ The admin can use the Data Transfer API to find out and transfer ownership of assets.

If you dont have access to an admin - have you tried copying the data source and reconfiguring it? I know it comes with a bit of work to then add that new data source to the dashboard, but that could be a workaround if there is no capacity available to undergo the workspace admin route.
