The issue I'm encoutering is with bar charts. I want to have bar charts with two dimensions - just x axis dimension and breakdown dimension. The issue is the data just copies the values from one breakdown dimension to another one. And I have no idea, how to solve it. Here's an example report. Below is the Pivot Table that shows all the correct data, and above is the bar chart that just takes the last 2 values (blue and yellow in colors)and makes them have equal values (but they are not equal as seen on the pivot table). Here's unfinished report with the issue described: https://lookerstudio.google.com/u/2/reporting/9da96fa9-b8fd-4482-8d8b-c81c774b67f6/page/4EdJF
I've tried creating new report, new charts, re-add the data source, but the issue still persists. There are no special symbols in the names, nothing extraordinary. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Ok, so what fixed the issue ( I also tried setting the data in different source etc), but the one thing that helped was to change the name. Apparently "Aptelia.lv" and "emenessaptieka.lv" are too similar??? Anyhow, I took off ".lv" from "emenessaptieka" and now it works. So that anyone faces similar issues, try changing the values if possible.
Hi @IevaOzolniece ,
It sounds like the bar chart is not handling the two dimensions properly and is flattening or duplicating the values. A few things you can check:
Make sure both the x-axis and breakdown dimensions are correctly set and match what’s shown in the pivot table.
Check if any aggregation settings are applied in the chart that might be summing or averaging the wrong field.
Try using a table or summary chart to first confirm the raw combined data before visualizing it in the bar chart.
If the issue persists, it could be a bug or limitation — I recommend also reporting it through Looker Studio support.
Yeah, I tried that. The data shows correctly if the dimensiosn are the other way arround - the now dimension is breakdown dimension, and the now break down dimension is the x axis dimension. Additionally the data shows up correctly if I put a filter on that filters out and either only the dimension with the wrong data, or takes ot the dimension that it copies the values from.
And I've tried to go from the Pivot table that shows the correct values to chart, but it has the same issue. Thanks for the ideas, but I guess I'll have to hope that Looker Studio support will be available to help.
But do you know how to get in touch with support? The only option I see is for connection with Google Analytics 360. This is not the case. The data comes from BigQuery table.
