Looker Studio report level elements disappearing

Hello,

Sometime for seemingly no reason at all, my report level elements will be deleted from my report requiring me to reconfigure them completely. This has been happening more often recently. I haven't been able to find any help regarding this issue. Has anyone ran into this issue before and found a solution?

I have been encountering the same issue. I found a vague reference to changing the position of report level elements to top in the layout section of "theme and layout". I am testing it to see if it makes a difference.

You definitely need to make sure that they aren't just hiding behind page-level components by setting report-level components to Front.

I have been encountering this issue a lot. It's extremely frustrating and I haven't worked out the reason why things are deleted.

My team has been experiencing this issue where report-level elements disappear from the dashboard approximately once a day for the past 10 days. This is beyond frustrating and veering on laughable. Today, the parameters of one report-level element aren't retained when pasting the element from a copy of the real dashboard--the stop gap we put in place while waiting for this issue to be resolved. At this point, we're a bit at a loss.

Hey Google! Whats happening with your product? since multiple months this issue appears and nobody is doing something? We are paying for this product so please make sure that this stops happening! we are experiencing this multiple times per week now.. this is extremely frustrating and time intensive to fix!

Just curious but are there any commonalities to when this happens for everyone? We've seen it happen in Chrome, and/or when browser memory seems to be "struggling", and/or when multiple people are editing a report at the same time, and/or for no reason at all. Any other patterns anyone's noticed?

And it happens with logos (uploaded images), boxes (built-in graphic elements), text, date pickers, and other data controls. Doesn't seem to matter... only that it's report-level. It glitches, it's gone.

∑hats happening here @Google?  this is still an issue and as paying customers we would get information what is this all about. it happens more and more that reportwide elements like headers where we use an image in an element just disappears without any action from our side. this happened now in multiple reports without any schema which we could detect.. it just happens out of the blue. this is incredibly annoying. pleas investigate into this and fix this BUG!!
Its just not professional if this isjust left unfixed especially if there is no support for this tool even if you are a paying customer in GCP AND Looker studio pro!

Can confirm this is an extremely frustratring bug in Looker Studio Pro since a few months. We have had less issues with Looker Studio than the paid Pro version to be honest. 

We're encountering this issue when multiple people seem to be editing in the same dashboard, which is normal.

We are all working on Chrome browsers, be it on Chromebooks and Macbooks.
