Looker Timeline Chart - Vertical Today Line

I have this Project Timeline chart, really want an option to add a vertical TODAY line, so the people viewing the project status could be easilyt to align where we are. 
Seems the Timeline chart don't have an existing option, what can I do to add it? Please kindly help. Anyone should have write access to that Timeline chart.

I don't think this is possible in Looker Studio - but would make a good feature request!

In Looker, there are ways to add a vertical reference line to almost any chart - I'm not certain whether the line could dynamically show the current date, though.
