Looker studio issue with "Save and extract" data update settings

I am having the exact same problem as here https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Looker-Studio/Source-Data-Extract-Can-t-manually-update-refr... and it seems to be still not fixed yet, the workaround solution doesn't work
