Microsoft SQL Database Cannot Connect New Data Sources

Existing Microsoft SQL database connections are working fine, however, I receive an error when I try to connect to a new Microsoft Data Source to a different table. It is not a firewall issue. I have been unable to connect new Microsoft SQL database connections since Friday, May 17th. 

I cannot view any tables or the custom SQL query tab, change tables, or add new data sources.

I can only edit an existing connection and change the custom SQL Query.

I've been trying to create a new SQL Azure data source without any luck for 6 weeks. Is this normal? Is Looker badly supported?

I've had the same issue with Microsoft SQL Server connector in Looker Studio.  It sporadically fails, sometimes for weeks

I didn't resolve this. Moved to using https://www.metabase.com/ instead which is much better
