Missing built in variable "click text" in Looker Studio

Hi,

I am experiencing an issue where the built-in variable "click text" is not appearing in Looker Studio Reports (snapshot below). I checked the variable is properly configured in GTM container, also necessary settings are enabled in GA4.

I am trying to track some button clicks on website, using the 'click text' variable. While I can see these clicks being registered within GTM's preview mode but the 'Click Text' data is not populating within Looker Studio.

Please help in resolving the issue and advice on necessary steps to be taken.

Have you check the dimension "Event name" values? Maybe it's where your Click Text is. So, you need to add a filter WHERE event_name="Click Text"

Hi, when setting a variable in GTM, you need to configure a 'Custom Dimension' in GA4. After that, connect it to Looker Studio, and you’ll get the desired result! Please check the references below.
