I’m trying to find a way to have all time dimensions be on a 12 hour clock (i.e seeing 8:00 PM instead of 20:00). It is not how we look at time in our business and have had multiple requests to change all times to “human” readable times.
Any thoughts as to the best solution for this? I couldn’t find a setting in the Admin page that does that across the whole instance.

Hi Lorena,
I think, in your visualisations, you can add %I%p
to your field to format it as olde-worlde time.
Sadly, I don’t think Looker currently has the functionality to create a named_timeframe
, as is possible with named_value_format
which would be handy.
Hope this helps!
How funny that despite working with AM/PM for 15 years I still think 20:00
is the human-readable format 🙂

thanks @CorySchultze - I’ll see how I can put in a feature request.
