WEEKDAY function not found

Hello Folks,

I want to return the current date as an index. So, I was using the weekday function WEEKDAY(NOW( )).
But whenever I execute the query, I was getting the function not found error. Can anyone of you suggest me how to enable these functions so that I can use them.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
