Remember how we announced that the new Google Cloud Community site would regularly allow you to participate in Community-exclusive events?
Well, the time has come for our very first live event.
On August 2nd, 2021, from 9 AM - 10 AM PT, we will be hosting a 'Queue the Questions' AMA event on Google Cloud onboarding.
During that timeframe, the Cloud Technical Onboarding team, including hosts
@brettpearce, @stevechiang, @nehadoshi, and @zehra_ladiwala will be ready to help answer questions you have about onboarding and migrating to Google Cloud.
In case you were wondering what the team does: The Technical Onboarding Center is focused on providing new Google Cloud Platform customers with a smooth and best-in-class onboarding experience. The team will help answer questions on the Google Cloud onboarding methodology and best practices.
So, how does the event work?
- If you don't have a Google Cloud Community account, yet, register for an account.
- On August 2nd at 9 AM PT, navigate to Google Cloud News & Announcements (right here, where you are reading this post).
- Once the event has started, you will see a pinned a post for the event at the top of the board.
- Open the thread and post your questions on onboarding and migrating in the comments. The team will answer questions as they come in.
- Once the event is over, the thread will be locked, which means that no new questions can be posted. However, anyone will still be able to see the questions and answers from the event.
Some things to keep in mind:
- The Community Guidelines still apply, so keep your comments polite.
- Clear and detailed questions are more likely to receive a useful response, so try to be specific in what you are asking.
- While the team will make an effort to answer all questions, time constraints and company policies may prevent some questions from being answered. Questions that are out of scope: Onboarding troubleshooting questions and support escalations
