Enhancement | AppSheet Core Security setting enforcement
AppSheet Core is in the process of being included in Workspace SKUs (see this announcement). As part of this rollout, a new AppSheet Core security setting is being made available to Workspace admins. This setting will apply to all AppSheet Core users in their Workspace org, (including those who bought their own licenses on appsheet.com). When turned ON for a Workspace organization, these features will be disabled for apps owned by AppSheet Core users. This setting will be defaulted to OFF for organizations with existing active AppSheet apps as of early July 2023. Organizations with users that have created apps since then may have their apps blocked, as the security setting will be turned ON by default when rolled out for these orgs new to AppSheet since early July. This rollout will happen gradually. It is deployed to 20% of paid users. For more information, see: |

The new desktop design lets users navigate their apps more easily and access information in context, and provides an efficient way to edit existing records without losing context. The legacy desktop design, enabled by default, provides an experience similar to the mobile and tablet device. For more information, see: |
