Features & enhancements

Item Description
Enhancement Embed an authenticated AppSheet app in Google Sites

You can now seamlessly embed authenticated AppSheet apps directly in Google Sites pages. For details, see:

Enhancement For desktop UI, AppSheet now provides localization for Expand label on dashboard views.
Enhancement Clarified regions for the Looker Connector

Text should more clearly indicate what region actually means when setting up a new looker connector

Bug fixes

Item Description
Bug Parks will no longer show on maps if "Hide points of interest" is enabled in the app's view settings, as reported in the Community.
Bug Fixed a bug where the "Clear" image button displayed on read-only fields.
Bug Fixed alignment of long form field labels in iOS and Safari.
Bug For desktop UI, now apply launch background to initial loading page.
Bug Fixed an issue that was preventing the dragging of multiple items in manual order control. Before, items needed to be dragged one by one.
Bug Removed the unused Enable Automation Triggers setting. A new integrations setting Enable External Automation Triggers was accidentally released with the Gmail integration preview. This setting does not control any automation trigger behavior, but it causes a new table AppSheet_TriggerEmail to be added to the application if the setting is turned on. The setting is being removed and the AppSheet_TriggerEmail table will be removed from all applications.
Bug Fixed a bug where photo preview images weren't displaying at full width/height.
Bug Fixed a bug that was preventing app editors from copying the localization text to another app.

Rollout changes

Item Description
Bug Fixed a bug with initial sync not working when linking to a form view in another app in Desktop mode. This bug fix is rolling out gradually.

New: Deployed to all users.
Previous: Deployed to 100% of free users and 75% of paid users.

It's so good to see the team's activity. I don't think there's anything better than feeling supported as developers. Thanks.

Very nice !

Please think about this feature :

More pre-set sizes of image in PDF Template in Format Rules.

Currently, the difference in size between Medium and Small image is way too large. I have to think about switching to another platform just for this use case...

Thanks for those updates !

@lizlynch

Sorry to re-open the issue. I tested thoroughly with Map view again. Indeed, the PARKS are hidden, however, MOUNTAIN (peak) is still  visible. Could you hide those pins for mountains again, as it still keeps distracting the eyes of us even after "hide the point of interests"? thank you.

@Koichi_Tsuji - Mountain peaks should no longer be visible when you hide points of interest. Thanks again for reporting! See release notes.

@lizlynch

Thanks you for taking corrective action immediately. Yes, I don't see any mountain peaks for now after turning off the point of interests. Thank you again.
