Hi Team,

Could someone please clarify the exact meaning of the "Parsing error" and "Validation error" in the Data Ingestion and Health dashboard?

A parse error is a discrepancy within a string of code that can't be interpreted by the host system. This occurs when there are formatting errors.

Validation errors happen when the data is being moved to UDM.

To get more information about the error go to:

• Navigate to Parsers page.
• Identify the parser for which validation is failing.
• Under custom parser select the View option and EDIT.
• Click on the failed event tab.
• You can see the error message and log event for which validation has failed.
