I tried a different approach and exported the CrowdStrike Marketplace integration, extracted the ZIP, made my modifications to the files, then tried to re-import the package, but all it will give me is an "Import Error: oops, looks like something went wrong". Absolutely unhelpful error message.
if it is the same integration name you need to change the version number in the .def file. For example, my LogRhythm integration is version 86 due to all my customizations, but the current one on the marketplace is version 14. I have to get it from support in .zip, Extract, then change the version number, make my customizations, then delete the current integration (yes breaks connectors) then import new one, then redo all connectors....price you pay for custom integrations
@pigram86 , you have to get it from support? Can't you just export it from the IDE from the console, using the Export option?
@pigram86 , you sir are a genius. I just exported the marketplace version from the IDE, unzipped, modified, incremented the version #, rezipped, and re-imported. That worked. Thank you.
@Jason_Bennett you are welcome. Glad it worked
Also, I have to get it from support due to the fact that my version is higher, it breaks if i install the Marketplace version due to db error.
