Do you want to print something from Appsheet app? Then have a look

I wonder how Appsheet user currently printing out docs from the app, but basically we send the email to the login use by action/workflow combination then once the email arrives, user to print the mail and/or attachment.

If we only have single printer fixed in the office then wish to print something out of that printer + Appsheet app, this could be working option.

This is one of the service Epson provide.

It is depending on the printer you have but some of the printer is providing the unique email address.
What I mean when you send email to this secret email address (cohere to your machine), mail body + attachment is printed out.

What i do now is set the action/workflow on appsheet app. When the user click button on appsheet, then workflow will send email to email address uniquely config for my printer.

So far so good.

Sharing (this easy) tips for those who are looking for option to print โ€˜somethingโ€™ out of Appsheet, cheers.

@tsuji_koichi Thank you very much for sharing.
I can confirm that this is working very well with my Epson WF-3540.
In the settings you can define to print only the Attachment, without any E-Mail Body.

Great to see it did work with your printer and app combination as well!

Hello friends, iโ€™m going to give epson connect a go as well, i have an action that creates the PDF that i want to send, but since the work process involving the PDF is kind of a trial and error process, iโ€™m going to use a separate button to send the final PDF, how can i attach an already created PDF to a mail?

EDIT: I managed to do it! hehe, thanks guys.

I am currently facing the same issue with my HP printer, as the HP Smart App does not provide an option to enable or disable printing the email body or attachments; it prints both by default. Does Epson still support the option to disable printing the email body?

I wonder why it hasn't gotten any responses, either positive or negative.  Sometimes, I'm rather surprised at how muted responses to tips offering options to AppSheet users can be.

Hi Kirk,

A few thoughts on this aspect based on my observations. I think the response to tips is in general directly proportional to

1. If a community member is present in the community for long and has established a presence with proven contributions

2. The tip is simpler, easy to digest- meaning restricted to mostly core AppSheet functions rather than using many external systems and requiring lot of setup.

3. The tip is for a very common use case that majority of people are looking answer to.

4. The tip is for visually appealing UI /UX- dashboards, icons , image based tips, elegant reports tips etc.

5. Some tips catch up gradually. Some community member tries a tip, gives positive response and then it gradually gets more attention.

Many members have contributed with very useful tips that fit into above criteria and have invoked great responses. Of course, above are not mathematical rules and the only rules. Also just because a tip has not invoked response does not mean it is not a good tip. Many times it is a technically very niche tip but there are relatively few practical use cases to it for mass consumption, so it invokes lesser response.
