Hide the Address / LatLong / XY row in a maps's deck view

When we click on a pin in a map view on a small screen, the deck view opens up.

To change what you see on this deck view, you first have to create a deck view and then you can customize this deck view.

But there is no way to control the first row in the deck view. In this case: The address.
You cannot hide it.
That's the same with LatLong and with XY columns. And in this case it's even worse, because in most times a LatLong or a XY value is not necessary for the user.
Since years we are asking AppSheet to please give us control over that. Like this feature request from @Koichi_Tsuji.

I wanted to show a known workaround for that, but also a little visual bug that comes with that.

  • Create a Format Rule for the column (Address or LatLong or XY)
  • Under Text color write the word "transparent"

Now the Address column is hidden:

You can go a step further to get rid of the Icon:

  • Set the Text size to 0.2. That's the smallest possible value.

Now the Icon is very very small:

But now we also see a little visual bug: The deck has now a horizontal line under the action bar.
This happens because the deck view is pushed up by the smaller font size.
