Book authoring and printing on AppSheet
I made this app primarly as a workbench for my Part 2 of pixel perfect reports.
The app has the following structure to make a book:
This is done via multiple parent-child relationships.
The end result is an html because if I make a PDF directly, most of the good stuff will be lost because of AppSheet's current backend engine for pdf creation, Skia/Chromium.
If you open the .html, you will find a button there that will download a fully formated pdf, headers, footers and more included!
A detailed explanation of the template to generate the file will be found on my Part 2 post, but I'm not able to post it yet because it's a long one and I'm stuck on a limit of 80.000 characters for my post. I hope @AndrewB and @Michelle can give me some help about that, lifting the limit, at least just for that one.
