Hello all,

For those who don't know me I've been a Google Workspace Developer since 2010 specialising in Google Apps Script. I've always been keen to share my Apps Script discoveries and learn from other Workspace Developers. To help Google Workspace developers discover some of the amazing resources shared by the community for the last couple of years I've been curating AppsScriptPulse, which now contains over 500 examples of snippets and code solutions shared by other developers. AppsScriptPulse, is very useful indeed.

I haven't looked at every snippest nor tutorials provided but it seems that two important themes are not addressed in your website :

One is the security surrounding Apps Script (ex : the ability to abuse and export data using UrlFetch... )

The other one is the where and how your code is excecuted (ie GCP)

The documentation provided by Google does not give a clear picture of the themes nor does it really encourage IT admin to have a look at these.

So I believe (I may be wrong) that most IT admin from companies using Google Workspace have no clue regarding this fundamental subjects.

And I believe someone with your authority could play a role on the subjects

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. Both really interesting topics and agree more resources on these would be welcome. This is the downside of AppsScriptPulse in that it centralizes broader Apps Script community contributions and I'm not discovering many/any outputs along those lines. I'll keep my eyes out and also welcome any suggested links.
